State College ASES Solar Tour a hit! |

Last Saturday turned out to be a shining triumph for Sun Directed as Randy, Solar Customer Representative extraordinaire, wowed the crowd at the annual ASES State College Solar Tour. Numerous residential solar panel sites were visited around the SC area and in attendance were approximately 30 enthusiasts. The demographic ranged from material science students engaged in a solar class to home owners, all of whom were looking to witness renewable energy systems in action and to learn more about solar financing, the mechanics, and the science of solar. Along the route were solar panel projects done by local solar installers, two of which were crafted by the Sun Directed solar installers, namely Matt, Dean, and yours truly. Our Customer Rep, Randy, performed like a rock star and consequently garnered a ring of people around him as he shared his wealth of knowledge on all matters involving solar. Questions flew in from all sides, but Randy coolly had intelligent answers at hand as he educated the crowd about installers, installations, incentives, and the panels themselves. Thank you to our customers JoAnn & Albert and Don & Delores, who took extra time out of their day to answer questions from inquisitive minds. It would be fantastic to see more of you, solar enthusiasts, out there with us next year as I’m sure we’ll have more systems to showcase and more questions to answer. Finally, thanks to all of you who took the time to come out and explore a few of the solar installations of the State College area. We here at Sun Directed hope that a lot was learned and curiosities were inspired to continue to explore the wonderful benefits of solar technology in Pennsylvania. |
